Serio Battista Borgogno, Barolo Cannubi Riserva Brut Zero subtle spices and superb lengthThe 2009 Barolo Riserva Cannubi starts off with lovely, fruit forward intensity but then delivers some sour bitterness that prevents this wine from scoring higher. The fruit is from one of the most celebrated cru sites in Barolo, and the bouquet is redolent of dried cherry and cranberry.
